Lane Michael Stanley is a transgender director, playwright, filmmaker, and producer. Lane has won Best Director from City Paper’s Best of Baltimore 2016, The Bad Oracle, and DC Metro Theatre Arts, and received the Mayor’s Individual Artist Award. Their first feature film ADDICT NAMED HAL premiered at the 2021 Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Their films have shown at festivals including Toronto Short Film Festival and Big Apple Film Festival. Their plays have been produced and developed by 19 theaters in 8 states.
