For over 30 years, the Lambda Literary Awards have recognized the best LGBTQ books published in a given year across dozens of categories.

Below is a fully searchable directory of all previous Lammy finalists and winners dating back to 1988.

By default, names are presented here as they were in the finalist year. Authors may contact us to request to have their name updated.

Note that each year’s Lambda Literary Awards celebrates books published between January 1 and December 31 of the previous year, so the Year reflected in the table is the year in which the nominated work was published. To calculate the year it was recognized as a nominee, add 1 (i.e. Title “X” was published in 2023, and won the Lammy in 2024).
