We’re looking for help covering all of the school visits LGBTQ Writers in Schools has planned for the 2025-26 year! As a Visit Monitor, you will:
● Attend one-hour in-person and virtual visits through NYC’s K-12 public schools between the hours of 8am – 6pm EST
● Take notes and moderate the visit
● Act as an ambassador for LGBTQ Writers in Schools
● In-person: Serve as a liaison between educator and author, collect paperwork, and take pictures
● Virtual: tech/Zoom support, chat moderation
This part-time position pays $27.25/hr. You must be based in NYC and able to travel throughout the city.
