June 11, 2024 at Sony Hall for the 36th Annual Lammy Awards Ceremony and afterparty! We are thrilled to host you at a new venue in midtown Manhattan. Sony Hall offers a fully seated capacity for 450 guests, and the full bar as well as hors d’oeuvres will be offered during the afterparty. If you’re coming in from out of town, the Paramount Hotel is conveniently attached to the venue. The ceremony will be streamed on YouTube for those unable to make it in-person.
Joining our host Peppermint, our category presenters this year include authors Casey McQuiston and Danny Lore, Sapph-Lit founder Nina Haines, Who? Weekly podcast co-host Bobby Finger, NBC’s Weekend Today in New York host Bill Goldstein, our beloved interns Emmanuel Henderson and Morgan Sammut, and Lammy winners Edgar Gomez, Gwendolyn Kiste, and Torrey Peters. The evening will also include performances from our Writers in School Poet Laureates.
