November’s Most Anticipated LGBTQIA+ Books

Fall is officially upon us! The days are shorter, the nights cooler, and it’s the perfect time to cozy up with some good books.

And we have some lovely ones this month! Spend some time in the life of critic Hilton Als with his memoir My Pinup or escape reality altogether with love stories like Never Ever Getting Back Together by Sophie Gonzales (maybe a pairing with Midnight??). As the leaves change, it’s also nice to jump into Joshua Whitehead’s Making Love with the Land: Essays and A Short History of Queer Women by Kirsty Loehr would make a perfect gift for any Scorpios/Sags.

Looking for a book to share with the young people in your life? A Song for the Unsung: Bayard Rustin, the Man Behind the 1963 March on Washington brings history to life, and make sure to grab The Secrets of Stone Creek by Briana McDonald for the young one who just wants to sit in a corner and read during family gatherings (uhhh… was/is that me? Maaaaaybe lol)

As always, if you have a book coming out soon, email us at editor@lambdaliterary.org for consideration in our upcoming lists.
