Queer Guide to the 2013 AWP Conference

Queer Guide to the 2013 AWP Conference

Author: Paige Cohen

February 27, 2013

The Association of Writers & Writing Programs Annual Conference and Bookfair is just around the corner. With an average of around 550 “readings, lectures, panel discussions, and forums, as well as hundreds of book signings, receptions, dances, and informal gatherings,” AWP is the largest literary conference in North America.

For all of you heading down to Boston MA, March 6-9, for the three-day gathering of writers and readers, A Midsummer Night’s Press has put together a Queer Guide highlighting this year’s LGBT events and programming to help you sift through the hundreds of venues.

Make sure to come by our table (#H19) to say hello to William Johnson, LRR Managing Editor, and Charles Flowers, editor of Bloom Literary Magazine.

Click here to download the 2013 Queer Guide, which will also be available in print at the conference.
