Mission

In October of 2004, Rooster Fish Press an imprint of Windshift Press was born. Our mission is to spotlight and celebrate the variety of people's lives and backgrounds, while at the same time providing unknown authors with an opportunity to reach the world with their stories.

Rooster Fish Press provides the independent author with all of the support required to make your publishing experience a stress free event. We offer the structure, the resources, and the media contacts for you to successfully publish and market your book. Our staff includes professional editors, cover designers, book layout and marketing professionals. We obtain competitive print quotes. We offer international distribution for your book. Our staff has international qualifications and many years experience in the book trade. We only accept manuscripts that we feel have market potential.

Areas of Interest

We are interested in a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books. Please check our submissions page to see details for the submission of manuscripts.

Our current publishing programme includes: Flying with Angels by b.b.parker, a classic love story; Tales From The Man in The Black Hat by John Hellum, a selection of wonderfully acerbic pieces about his life as a chef; and Gay 101 – A Straight Look at Gay Life by Steven Coull and Sandra Janssen which aims to answer many of the questions straight people have about gay life, scheduled for publication September 2006.
